Simpsons motorhomes dealership in Great Yarmouth purchased by Desira Group

Simpsons Garage, a family business for over 63 years, renowned for its motorhome sales, repairs and servicing in East Anglia has been sold to Desira Group, a leading motoring group, established in 1972, with eight dealerships across Norfolk and Suffolk.  Desira believe the addition of Simpsons will increase their dealership network in the expanding local community by offering customers more choice.

Simpsons will continue trading under the same name and the Directors, Stuart Stone and Michelle Gant have met with all the Simpson staff and are looking forward to being part of the Simpsons’ team.  Desira said: “Motorhomes is a new growth area for us, and the used car sales and aftersales franchises complement our current Great Yarmouth dealership.

“Over the last two years, we have been working on various businesses and brands to add to the Group, ensuring any new partnerships would be the right fit and a major opportunity. So, the Desira Directors have a great relationship with Belinda Crick and Andrew Aldis Directors at Simpsons, we hugely appreciate all their hard work and support for ensuring we enjoy such a smooth handover.”

Belinda will continue working with Desira for some time, while Andrew is retiring. Letitia Saunders, the previous General Sales Manager at Desira Nissan, Fiat and Citroen Great Yarmouth will be moving to Simpsons to manage the dealership. Letita has been with the Desira Group for over 20 years and lives in Great Yarmouth and she will be working with Belinda to ensure the Simpsons ethos of fantastic customer care, knowledge and expertise for their loyal customer base is retained.
