A Certificate of Conformity (CoC) enables people to take a touring caravan for use outside the UK.
To request a copy of the CoC please contact the manufacturer of the caravan. The National Caravan Council (NCC) does not issue or hold records of these certificates.
You can get in touch with the relevant manufacturer via the contact page on its website. Please make sure you have the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and the name of the supplying dealership where possible when making contact.
Please note that if the caravan was manufactured before 2010 there was no requirement for the manufacturer to obtain EC Whole Vehicle Type Approval for the caravan, so a Certificate of Conformity was not produced.
Additionally, any technical specifications will be the property of the manufacturer and the NCC does not hold such documentation.
In the circumstances, if the country you are hoping to export the caravan to insists on these documents then you will need to consider approaching an approval body either here in the UK – the Vehicle Certification Agency (FCA) – or in the country of registration to obtain the necessary paperwork.
