For supplier members in particular, the NCC Verified Product scheme is the collective name for three registers of verified products and is the means by which compliance with applicable product standards can be recognised by all audiences, from manufacturers to consumers alike. The three schemes are:
Verified Leisure Batteries providing product verification for batteries used in leisure vehicles (touring caravans and motorhomes). Batteries are verified and labelled accordingly into three categories: A, B and C, depending on their capacity and intended purpose.
Verified Components - a register of industry related products that go into making a finished tourer, motorhome, holiday home and/or park home e.g. hobs, heating/ventilation, multi-media, smoke alarms.
Verified Accessories - a register of industry related products that are not a standard fixture or fitting in a tourer, motorhome, holiday home and/or park home e.g. fire extinguishers, mattresses, fire blankets.
Products in each scheme are deemed to be verified by the NCC as being compliant with the applicable product standard(s) based on a thorough review of third party test reports and/or certificates obtained from reputable/recognised test laboratories. If the product is successfully verified, it will be issued with a certificate, valid for one year, granted the usage rights of the NCC Verified Badge, under strict terms and conditions and will be included in the Verified Leisure Batteries/Components/Accessories register.
